The excitement is about to reach new heights with the much-anticipated opening of DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios in June 2024 and the fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe, slated to debut in 2025. The prospect of these exhilarating new attractions will undoubtedly increase demand for Universal Orlando Resort, making it crucial to partner with an expert travel agent at Fairy Godmother Travel for your next unforgettable vacation experience!

DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios

Opening June 14, 2024, DreamWorks Land at Universal Studios is not just another theme park attraction. It's a place where your favorite animated characters spring to life, inviting you to be a part of their world! Guests can meet Shrek, Fiona, and Donkey from the beloved DreamWorks Animation movie franchise, Shrek, just outside Shrek's cottage. For younger guests, there's Shrek's Swamp for Little Ogres, an interactive playground replicating the famous movie swamp, where they can climb, slide, and splash to their heart's content.

The Trolls Rollercoaster, a thrilling yet family-friendly ride, takes passengers on an exciting journey to escape spooky spiders with characters from the beloved movie Trolls, such as Poppy, Tiny, Satin, and Chenille. Po's Kung Fu Training Camp, themed after the classic film Kung Fu Panda, allows guests to meet and train with Po, create unique sounds by banging a gong, and visit Panda Village, the ancestral home of Po. A new live show titled DreamWorks Imagination Celebration and rotating character meet and greets at DreamWorks Character Zone will also be a part of this exciting new land.

Universal Epic Universe

Universal Orlando Resort's fourth theme park, Universal Epic Universe, will open in early 2025. Made up of five astonishing worlds, Epic Universe will expand the Wizard World of Harry Potter by debuting the Ministry of Magic. In this new section, guests can explore international wizarding communities and the magic that connects them. Dark Universe will be a world straight from the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein. It will feature a shadowy landscape where monsters are free to roam in a world of myth and mystery.

Celestial Park will be the heart of Universal's Epic Universe. Lush greenery, tree-lined walkways, and dancing fountains are just a few of the incredible design elements of this world. Guests can ride a shooting star across the cosmos aboard Starfall Racers, a dual-launch coaster reaching up to 62 mph. Additionally, all guests can ride celestial lions, bears, and dragons aboard the Constellation Carousel. Unique dining and shopping experiences will also be focal points of Celestial Park.

The Isle of Berk, modeled after the classic How to Train Your Dragon movies, will feature Hiccups Wing Gliders, a flying contraption that will send riders swooping and soaring around the Isle of Berk. A live show titled The Untrainable Dragon and Viking Training Camp, an interactive adventure play camp, will also be a part of this new world.

The most anticipated world in Universal's Epic Universe is Super Nintendo World. This epic world will feature Super Mario Land, where guests can battle Team Bowder on Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge and journey through colorful landscapes on Yoshi's Adventure. In Donkey Kong Country, guests can help Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong protect the Golden Banana in Mine-Cart Madness. At Super Nintendo World, park visitors can also meet and take photos with Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad.
